It call for the equal distribution of the fundamental goods and resources that are needed to maintain all human life. It first appears in the "Critique Of The Gotha Program".
This eminent Prussian-German philosopher has played a key role in the creation of the Social Sciences & the development of the political/economic theories of Socialism. His economic reasoning did much to clarify the understanding of labor & it’s relation to capital. He published seminal texts on the subject, notably The Communist Manifesto (1848) & Das Kapital (1867-1894). He was greatly influenced by the writings of the earlier economic philosopher Hegel.
In Paris, Marx joined forces with Frederick Engels, with whom he shared many principles. The two collaborated in the shaping of the doctrine that was to become Marxism. This doctrine rested on the theory that the ruling class (Capitalists) would be overthrown by the workers (Proletariat), the latter forming a worker’s state which would see the abolition of private property & the control of the means of production placed in workers’ hands. This would be a transitional period which would eventually lead to a classless society & the establishing of the Communist state.
