One of the most important and overlooked products for the Honda H22 engine is the sump baffle kit which helps keep the oil in the engine oil pick up area. This means under hard cornering the oil in the sump does not move away from the pickup area and in turn prevents oil starvation. Oil starvation can result in many engine failures . The most common is big end bearing failure as the bearing goes dry for a few seconds and begins to wear and damage the crankshaft.

This product is available in shallow depth which is normally for the H22a non euro-r and non Type-r models ... and also in the deeper version which fits the Euro-R , Type-R and some other models. It is very important for you to check the depth of your original sump to make sure your are ordering the correct upgrade. Please look at the pictures showing the depth.

Shallow sump - approximately 135mm 
Deeper sump - approximately 150mm 

Our sump is designed to fit the standard exhaust manifolds on the H22 original cars , if you have installed an aftermarket exhaust manifold and / or your are installing the sump on a engine swap car , then we cannot guarantee the exhaust manifold will not need modification.
