Crafted in limited small batches in, this unique ceramic piece draws inspiration from a historic relic. Adorned with an antique grand tour circa 1820 plaster intaglio cameo 320 by Paoletti shows the Muse Melpomene. This piece is glazed in Soot, a heavier matte black. Like the remnants of a cozy fire.

All sizes are approximate and due to the nature of the pieces, slight imperfections should be expected (and embraced!) All pieces are hand built out of stoneware and glazed using only lead free and food safe glazes.

All forms are made from white stoneware clay bodies.
