“I love pearls but never really liked the look of classic pearl jewellery,” Sophie explains. “I wanted to break away from a very classic, ladylike notion of what pearl jewellery looked like and simply let the pearls do all the talking, without any unnecessary embellishment. It just sits right on your collarbone, so it’s quite sexy, too. I think that’s what makes it feel modern.”

The lock is unattached to the necklace and becomes integrated with the design. When locking the necklace, place ends inside the lock and press to hear a click. Open by separating the gold lock in the middle.
