Vintage 1930s rayon liquid satin dress in a bold rust red-orange with a lace yolk lined with metallic piping.  Classic bias-cut thirties silhouette with fluted skirt, puffed sleeves and fabric-covered buttons down the back.  A classic stunner!

Condition

Fair, with visible flaws to note.  The most notable issue is the lace yolk - although the netting layer on the bottom is intact, the decorative lace layer on top has multiple large breaks (see images).  Less noticeably, there are some light snags or runs that appear in the satin bodice and under the arm (see images).

The price has been adjusted accordingly on this otherwise rare gem.
