Vintage 1930s wide-leg sailor pants with high waist and working buttons.  The softest, most perfectly worn chambray with cuffed hem.

*The waist was originally set to 32".  I moved the top 2 buttons slightly (see image) to achieve a 30" waist for personal wear.  Because the button placket is very wide and the style is very wide-legged, you could easily move the buttons to achieve between a 29" and 32" waist size (note: the seam of the button placket becomes visible at 32").  Just be aware of the other measurements.

Condition

Fair, with visible signs of wash and wear.  The fabric is strong, but feels soft and worn to the touch.  There is an overall fade/ bleach effect that creates a tie-dye look.

There are also some very tiny brown specs near the front buttons and on the seat (see images) and a small darkened spot on one leg under the knee (see image).  There is another brown spot on the inner hem of one leg (see image).

Overall its wear has a charming workwear style to it.
