Check out this wonderful, early Gaultier jacket. It is so iconic and absolutely Jean Paul!

There is no fabric tag, but it feels like linen, or perhaps a linen/silk blend. It was woven in 2 shades of golden brown so it has a dupioni sheen. The lapels are bronze silk dupioni, the jacket is lined in a silky fabric. The shoulders are padded, and so is the bottom half of the jacket so it stands out from the hips creating that hourglass effect. It is a beautifully made jacket, look at the zig-zag stitching along all the seams... and look at the lines of the jacket.... just amazing!
