For sale here is a very nice Dingley St. George style fly reel - 3" diameter. Foot is full length at 2.6" and unfiled but has a slight kink in one end, but this doesn't prevent it from fitting nicely on a rod. Ivorine handle spins freely. Stamped D2 and 2 on foot and two dots on cog. Fixed check is adequately strong. Tiny amount of end play - I would rate the spindle fit 9 out of 10. Reel weighs 5.95 oz. This is a super attractive Dingley to collect or fish and a rare model from the late 1920's/early 30's.
