This is an all-new Acid and quite different to the existing series. The early versions of this board were conceived and tested when Robin was stuck in Mexico for a spell during covid. He has evolved and refined it over the last few years and has reached a point where he is really stoked with it. He shaped himself a 7'11 early this year for a trip he was doing to Morocco and said it was the perfect all-around travel board. Quite different to the last version of acid, this has been an experiment with more foam and concave. A fast flowing feeling when surfing, centred on the board with acceleration from under the back foot when needed. The additional foam makes it very easy to paddle and makes it a very user-friendly board with the unique feeling that Gato's have. A comfortable board to cruise on that can be surfed in a dynamic way when required.

This one has a butter yellow deck and tangerine bottom tint, gH wave volan deck and tail patch, Midget Farrelly blank and 3mm cedar stringer.
