(from Montmains proper and vinified in stainless but raised in wood). Discreet wood can be found on the floral-suffused nose of both white and yellow orchard fruit that reflects notes of spice, quinine, tidal pool and a subtle hint of citrus influence. There is good refinement to the vibrant and rich but appealingly delineated flavors that dance across the palate on the lingering and saline-inflected finale. This is really quite fine and should age accordingly.
