The radio supports both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity, making it easy to share radio data and DSC alerts with compatible chartplotters, GPS units, and multifunction displays. While an external GPS source is required for position reporting with DSC, NMEA-enabled systems allow you to integrate the GX1850B into your vessel’s electronics network. 

Additional user-friendly features include an E2O Easy-to-Operate menu system, programmable priority scan and multi-watch, NOAA weather channels with alerts, and support for optional second-station remote microphones with intercom capability.
