Continued testing and tweaking, excellent results have been seen on both standard cars and remapped.

On a standard car, with standard software, peak gains of 40bhp were attained in back to back testing. Does this mean that all cars fitted with this will get 40bhp ? Its impossible to say. We're merely including results here as an indication of how well the core is working.

We will be testing on another RS3 as soon as we can to back up these figures. On remapped cars, this really is down to the software you have, but we would highly recommend that you get your map tailored to suit your new intercooler. Temperature drops were 25 degree C at the intercooler outlet compared to stock (stock peaked at 60 degree C, ours at 35 degree C in 21 degree C ambient temperatures), and the intercooler inlet temperature drops too, compared to the stock core, indicating that along with reducing the differential pressure across the core, the turbo is not working as hard, to achieve the same, and better results.
