This beautiful unique bookcase was imported from England. It was manufactured by Joseph Wallis and from the tag we can say it dates between 1867-1887. It has two glass doors on the front with a single shelf inside. On each side is of the bookcase is a door that swings out. The top lifts up to provide additional storage. It all sits on top of a stretcher base.

The piece is solid and stable. It does have some age appropriate finish loss. Some of the faux lead glass on the doors is missing. One of the doors rests shut but does not latch. Please see all the photos for details.

The bookcase is 43" tall, 43" wide and about 13" deep.
