Dial Composition
The dial begins with a luminous mother of pearl background that reflects soft flashes of pink, green, and violet as the light changes across the surface. Flowing leaves of natural abalone shell are inlaid into the mother of pearl, creating a sense of movement and wind.

The rider and horse are formed from a finely cut metal overlay placed by hand above the shell background. This layered construction adds depth to the dial and gives the design a subtle three-dimensional presence.
