The MIPS system (**Multi-Directional Impact Protection System**) integrated into this helmet is the result of nearly 20 years of study and research. Its principle is simple: to mimic and act like the cerebrospinal fluid in which our brain "floats."
In the event of an impact, the MIPS system absorbs the energy by allowing the skull to slide along the inner shell. This helps to better dissipate rotational forces, reducing the risk of the brain hitting the skull and providing enhanced protection against oblique impacts.
