This is tight and closed to the point of being all but mute and only aggressive swirling coaxes shy notes of petrol, white flowers, citrus and a touch of oak toast to reveal themselves. The strikingly textured middle weight flavors seem to be constructed on a firm base of minerality before culminating in an intensely saline, mouth coating and beautifully well-balanced finale. While quite firm at present my sense is that this will unwind relatively quickly and could probably be approached after only 2 to 3 years of bottle age. 93/2020+
