The Add/Drop Optical Module (ADOM) is used to drop and add one or more ITU wavelength channels with 100 GHz or 200 GHz spacing in DWDM systems. The module is a thin film filter based micro optics device. It has wide bandwidth, low insertion loss, high isolation and high power handling capability.
