Where noted, certain models are also certified to ANSI and include a reinforced gate for lateral stress. Designed with a keylock system, wide gate opening, glove-friendly sleeve, and burnished finish, CMC ProSteel Carabiners are built for heavy duty work in harsh environments, yet offer easy handling for everyday applications. Now available in gray with a new Zinc-Nickel treatment that provides double corrosion resistance from the prior black plating (test carried out in salt spray in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9227), greater scratch resistance, longer life, more uniform and modern finish, and less friction on cords and textile devices.
