For sale here is a FE Thomas Special bamboo rod 8' 3/2 for a 3/4wt. Due to the weight of the rod, I think it is a "Fairy" model. All sections are full length. It appears someone began to restore the butt section (about 1/3 of the way up) but stopped. The intermediates are detached from most of that section that hasn't been messed with. The rest of the rod looks original. Grip is ridged. Ferrule fit is fine. Powerful medium action. Weighs 3.55 oz. 9/15 ferrules. 8 on butt cap. English tempered bronzed steel snake guides, agate stripping guide, golden silk windings with intermediates throughout the rod, hookeeper, tapered cigar grip, cork reel seat with nickel silver ring and pocketed butt cap stamped FE Thomas Special Bangor, ME.
