Holden in a Ford!

Celebrate this classic era of the Mountain classic with this 1970 XW Falcon from Classic Carlectables.

This #65 Bob Holden example started from Row 13 on the first 2-2-2 Bathurst 500 grid, finishing the race in 14th position. Holden drove the race alone, in a time at Bathurst when this could be done! Bill Fanning practiced the car, but didn't drive in the race.

This was Holden's only Bathurst 500/1000 in a Falcon, and his first in a Ford, after winning the race in 1966.
