For sale here is a HL Leonard Model 37H in near mint original condition. 6'6 2/2 4wt. The rod could have been made early in the post-fire era when they didn't use serial numbers. The rod has Simroe-era hardware. Nickel silver sliding band stamped "The Leonard Rod" and "The H.L. Leonard Rod Co., Makers" (no patent stamp), butternut spacer, small cigar grip, bright nickel silver ferrules, wrapped in dark red silks. Nicely swelled butt. The rod weighs 2 5/8 oz. Comes in a Maxwell-era or later tube and bag.
