Support musculoskeletal health: Inadequate intakes of magnesium are understood to be a common occurrence in children 9 years and over.⁷ This is especially pertinent given the rapid growth and development that occurs during childhood, such as within the musculoskeletal system. Approximately 60% of the body's magnesium is found in the skeleton, with approximately 27% in muscle tissue.⁸ Therefore, magnesium supplementation is important for growing children to help support healthy muscle function.

Energy and nervous system support: Growing children can experience high physical demands, as well as emotional stressors. Both physical and emotional stress can increase the requirements for magnesium¹⁰ and contribute to symptoms such as lethargy, anxiety, insomnia and irritability.¹¹ Developmental processes during childhood also create a demand on energy requirements. Children: 2 to 4 years: Add å_ metric teaspoon (1.75 g) to 50 mL of water or juice, or to taste, twice daily.

Children: 5 to 12 years: Add 1 metric teaspoon (3.5 g) twice daily with 100 mL of water or juice, or to taste, twice daily. 

WARNINGS

Fructose free: All Fibroplex MagActive Powders are naturally sweetened, suitable for children who are fructose sensitive.

Natural colourings: The raspberry flavour of this product is naturally coloured with anthocyanins derived from black carrot extract. As the anthocyanins mix with water and malic acid (contained within Fibroplex MagActive for Kids) they turn blue, before returning to a red hue.

Free from animal products, dairy protein, lactose, eggs, gluten, nuts, yeast and soy protein. Free from artificial colours, and flavours. Naturally sweetened with steviol glycosides.

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
