• Triple-Chromed Brass Ball: Provides a smooth, non-stick surface that resists marine growth and ensures a bubble-tight seal for years of operation.

• Integrated Bonding Lug: Includes a dedicated screw point for connecting to the vessel’s bonding system, protecting the bronze casting from galvanic corrosion.

Note: Mounting hardware (bolts/nuts) and the matching 2" Thru-Hull fitting are not included and must be purchased separately based on your hull thickness.

Installation Pro-Tip: The Backing Block

To meet ABYC standards and ensure a watertight seal, the BV-2000 should be mounted on a backing block (usually made of G10 fiberglass plate or marine-grade plywood encased in epoxy). This levels the mounting surface against the curve of the hull and provides a solid foundation for the three mounting bolts.
