This tachi has been crafted from Damascus steel. The distinctive feature of this material is that it creates beautiful patterns during the forging process by the master swordsmith, resulting in a unique and refined blade. The handle is carved from solid rosewood, an exotic hardwood known for its strength and durability. The scabbard is adorned with shagreen, a fish skin treated like leather and commonly used in luxury leatherwork. The handle is also made from solid rosewood.
