About Persian Tuyserkan Rug: Tuyserkan rugs are a scarce tribal rug made by weavers in the village of Tuyserkan, surrounded by the Zagros mountains in western Iran. They are well known for their high quality craftsmanship. The woollen yarn from local sheep is hardy and strong, providing a durable surface and beautiful colour scale with a soft and silk-like sheen. Patterns are mostly geometric, with floral motifs also present.

All vintage & antique rugs that we are selling were produced years ago with love by nomads and are treasures of the past. They have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty of these rugs.
