This is particularly useful when used in Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 rear wheel drive Escorts, Chevettes, Opel Manta & other similar cars where the inner wing is close to the engine & if you have to run a restricted intake, you will lose all the horse power you have spent so much money getting in the first place. For use with the Ford gearboxes RS2000 4 Speed & Sierra 5 Speed.

Quick Fit Bellhousings have threads on the 4 bolt holes where the Bellhousing mounts to a Type 9 Gearbox. This allows the Gearbox to be bolted to the Bellhousing from the Gearbox side. Meaning that the Gearbox can be quickly removed from the car by removing just the 4 bolts, the Bellhousing and all other parts can stay in the car.
