Note, Porusot is a variation on the more typical usage of Poruzot). In contrast to the usual green fruit aromas that I typically find in Poruzots, here the fresh and expressive aromas run rather to citrus and spiced pear nuanced with hints of earth and herb that can also be found on the vibrant, rich, full and wonderfully intense flavors that culminate in a powerful and palate staining finish. Poruzots is, with good reason, not known for being a wine of elegance and finesse but this is by no means rustic either. Very solid quality. (91-93)/2012+
