An exceptionally clean, crisp copy of a very scarce work on the first prayer revival under the Goforths in China. Stiff wraps. Attractive. We don't recall handling this before. 

No. 2390 in Roberts, Revival Literature. Relates an attack on him during the Boxer Rebellion in which he and his family were beaten with clubs and struck by swords. Mentions being inspired to pray for revival through the writings of Finney. Anecdotes of powerful revival incidents at Changetehfu city, Peking, Moukden, Nanking, Liaoyang, Hankow, and Chinchowfu.
