A very ripe yet still acceptably fresh nose speaks of menthol, spice and liqueur-like black raspberry aromas. There is very good volume to the reasonably well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a mocha-infused finish that noticeable wood and warmth can be found. This is a wine to watch as it ages because while it has the stuffing to reward 6 to 10 years of cellaring, I do wonder if it might become heavy as it does so.
