A galvo motor, short for galvanometer motor, is a type of rotary motor used for precise positioning of mirrors in optical applications. Galvo motors work by using a moving magnet rotor and a high-accuracy position detector. This allows for fast and precise positioning of mirrors to deflect laser beams.
