For sale here is an early Thomas and Thomas Paradigm Bamboo Rod - 8' 2/2 5wt. Made in the early 1970s by Tom Maxwell and Tom Dorsey. Varnished. Clearly the writing on the rod is Maxwell's and it features the "Tails and Top Hat logo". Excellent condition overall. All sections are full-length and straight. One of the tips has a 1 1/2" invisible wrap right below the tip top over a slight splinter in the cane. The rod weighs 4 1/8 oz. and the ferrules are size 15/64. Nickel silver cap and ring over an all-cork reel seat. Clear silks with red edging at the winding check, ferrules and tip tops. Very nice medium fast action. Original bag and tube. Another very collectible T&T rod!
