Rod weighs 3 1/8 oz. and has 12/64 ferrules. Medium fast dry fly action. Serial #396. Single nickel silver ring over cork reel seat with a nicely burled wood insert below the seat. The rod has oxidized square-to-round ferrules with the maker's mark on the female. Agate stripping guide and oxidized hardware fittings. Sam Carlson-like delrin check above the grip and a square-to-round grip shape as well. Medium flamed cane with garnet silks and black edges. Outstanding varnished finish. Comes with a ferrule plug, original labeled poplin bag with pocket for the ferrule plug, and original labeled tube. It doesn't get much better than this!
