In this class, Lindsay will be covering everything you need to know about baking no-spread sugar cookies, making royal icing, getting your icing consistency just right, colouring your icing, and multiple different decorating techniques that are beginner-friendly! This class is meant for first time bakers who are brand new at cookies, or bakers looking to learn or improve their sugar cookie skills. Here are some topics we will cover in depth during this 2.5+ hour class:

• Preparing a no-spread vanilla sugar cookie dough recipe
• Making royal icing and achieving the correct consistencies
  
• Properly colouring your royal icing
• Tips and advice for drying your icing and preventing colour bleed
• Outlining and flooding cookies
  
• Various beginner-friendly techniques using royal icing
  
• Information about storing cookies
  
• Creating and adding decorations for a finishing touch

How To Register:

2. An email with the private class link will be sent to you within 48 hours of registration to the email you use during checkout. If your Facebook account name does not match your registration name we will need to know (email us [email protected]) so you can be added to the class.

The session will be recorded and saved for future reference for any class members who are not able to attend live. Facebook group will be monitored for questions by Lindsay (@theflourgirl_) following the class.
