WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE LECOMPTE TRIPLE THREAT SPLIT BASS PICKUPS?

These split coil, humcancelling soapbar pickups are very well balanced and even across the sonic spectrum. These retain a tone similar to LeCompte Triple Threat Single Coil soapbars, but have just a little less mid. Overall, these are a tight sounding pickup that won’t disappoint.

WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE LECOMPTE TRIPLE THREAT SINGLE COIL BASS PICKUPS?

Great B string once again on a LeCompte pickup. These have a clear low end that is tight and controlled. The frequency range is very even across the pickup, with a notably good bridge pickup.

The pickup used for this video is the LeCompte Triple Threat Single Coil 5, a 5 string pickup. The 4 & 5 string sizes/shapes will sound similar, but not exact as they will use different length magnets. LeCompte is engineering them to sound as close to each other as possible.
