For sale here is a H.L. Leonard pre-fire Model 4099 Tournament bamboo rod. 8 feet, 3/2 for a DT5 line. 4 3/8 oz. Excellent original condition. All sections are full length and straight. Early patent dates on the female ferrules. Very nice medium fast action, quicker than the very popular 50DF models. The ferrules are 10/64 and 17/64 and fit together nice and tightly. The original silks show their age but all guides appear to remain firmly attached. Comes with original bag and tube as well as a wonderfully preserved hang tag.
