The Odyssey PC1100 Extreme Racing (Red Top 40) Starter Battery is used extensively in Rally Cars and Endurance Race Cars, where greater amp/hour capacity is required. Originally developed to deliver the very high instantaneous power required to start aircraft engines this model is world renowned and offers the best performance to weight ratio of any battery.

Ideally suited to use in Rally Cars where the larger amp/hour capacity compensates for the current drain required for auxiliaries and where weight is less of an issue. This battery can be mounted at any attitude (inverted not recommended). The Odyssey PC1100 is maintenance free.
