For sale here is a classic Hardy St. George reel - diameter is 3 3/4". Three-screw latch. Ivorine handle spins freely. No cracks, chips or dings. Dated between 1917 and the early 1920s. Great leading on the reel. Pawl and gear teeth still in superb shape. No wobble or end play to speak of. Original smooth alloy foot is un-filed. Tension regulator works as intended. Smoky brown agate is free from cracks. Stamped 16 throughout. Reel weighs 7.15 oz which includes the old silk line on the spool. Reel foot is 2.7" long.
