WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE SADOWSKY SPLIT COIL JAZZ BASS PICKUP?
These J Bass® pickups have a nice even one to them. There is a bit of compression, as we would expect with split coil pickups, but it sounds good, and is not distracting. The mid range has a touch of scoop that sounds good, and gives the tone a deep feel.
