After a long winter, the forest comes alive with the first signs of rebirth. Purple, yellow flowers bloom creating a floral bed along the forest ground below the new leaves of the trees. This painting symbolizes the renewal experienced in May. I painted ribbons from the trees as a celebratory touch to the festivities honouring the new life of Spring.
