Here the nose suffers from a bit of post-bottling reduction though there is good freshness and verve to the finer, and more intricately detailed, medium weight flavors that conclude in a dusty and slightly raspy if reasonably persistent finish. As the description suggests, this is somewhat awkward though I suspect this is more due to the recent bottling than a true lack of balance.
