For sale here is a Thomas and Thomas (T&T) Classic bamboo rod -- 8' 2/2 5wt. Rod is in excellent+ condition. Impregnated finish. Early serial number #3301 dates the rod to approximately 1978 after Tom Maxwell's departure. This rod is all original. All sections are full length. One tip has a very slight fishing set. Down-locking reel seat over a walnut spacer and sliding ring / engraved pocket cap. The spacer has a very small gouge as shown in the photos. Superfine style cork grip. All of these reel seat components are aluminum. Translucent clear wraps with red edges. Includes replacement bag and tube. A very nice fishing rod with a medium dry fly action.
