The great Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo dedicates this disc to Heifetz to complete his discography! Accardo, renowned for his performances of Paganini's works and Romantic violin concertos, plays a number of Heifetz's beloved pieces with a violin full of song. The recording was made by Giulio Cesare Ricci, who has known Accardo for over 25 years, in a historic building in Rome, using the legendary Neumann U47 and M49 microphones, and mastered with the Signorich system, the FONE label's selling point.
