Testing Procedures:

At 365 Astronomy, we test 30-60% of the incoming Sharpstar and Askar telescopes (excluding smaller models). This ensures quality assessment for the batch, including focusing mechanisms, optical tubes, and accessories. We take test images with a full-frame DSLR to evaluate the telescope's performance. If we find issues, we collaborate with specialists to ensure your telescope meets high standards.

The SharpStar 61EDPH refracting telescope features a three-element design with one exotic ED lens, and multi-layer coatings that minimize internal reflections. It offers excellent observation and imaging capabilities thanks to its fast focal ratio.

Dedicated Full-Frame Reducer (Optional Extra)

The optional dedicated full-frame reducer is designed for the SharpStar 61EDPH and supports full-frame photography. It connects to the focuser and features a M48×0.75 thread for easy attachment. The three-element design minimizes vignetting, making it ideal for deep-sky astrophotography with a focal length of 275mm and a focal ratio of f/4.5. The 360-degree rotator simplifies camera adjustments for perfect framing.
