The London Haydn String Quartet is a British quartet that has established a reputation as a Haydn specialist with its exquisite ensemble playing classical bow and gut strings in period style and its meticulous attention to the editions of the scores used in its performances. Led by Scottish virtuoso Katherine Manson, who has been the leader of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra since 2006, the Haydn series is finally complete, having built up a solid reputation for its thoroughgoing style despite several changes of members.
