Simpson Strong-Tie HU hangers are heavy duty connectors designed for schools and other structures requiring additional strength, longevity and safety factors. Most models can be installed filling round holes only, or filling round and triangle holes for maximum values. The Strong-Tie HU410-2 face mount joist hanger features a G90 galvanized finish for corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

• Use all specified fasteners.
• HU/HUC - can be installed filling round holes only, or filling round and triangle holes for maximum values.
• Web Stiffeners are required for all I-joists used with these hangers.
• HU/HUC hangers can be welded to a steel member. Allowable loads are the lesser of the values in the Hanger tables or the weld capacity.
