Plategrip installation requires size-matched tools for drilling or punching bolt holes, tightening the bolts, and breaking off excess bolt length after torquing. Tools are grouped by fastener size: Group 1 (sizes 1, 140, 190, X375, X550, RP1), Group 2 (sizes 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/4, RP2), and Group 3 (sizes 2 1/2, 3). Tool kits TK1, TK2, and TK3 bundle two bolt breakers, one power punch, and one power wrench for the matched fastener group.
